Belgrade's 39th International Tourism Fair

Belgrade's Tourism Fair, the largest tourism manifestation in Serbia and southeastern Europe, will be held at Belgrade's Fair from the 23rd till the 26th of February 2016.

More than 1100 exhibitors from 56 countries will be taking part in this event. Two additional fairs, the Catering Equipment fair - HORECA - and the International wine fair - BEOWINE - will be held simultaneously under the same roof.

Belgrade's Tourism Fair has been meeting world standards in business for nearly 40 years, building partnerships with exhibitors and attracting increasing numbers of visitors each year.

Belgrade's Tourist Fair attracts businesses as well as ten of thousands of ,,ordinary'' visitors. For some, the event represents the opportunity to meet business partners and for others a place to find their ideal travel arrangement. Travel agencies, associations and organizations, hotels, tourist centers, airlines and international tour operators are all represented within a single location.

Last year, the Tourism Fair saw 1135 exhibitors present their offers. The number of visitors exceeded 71,000. The international character of this event was confirmed by the attendance of more than 340 foreign exhibitors from 55 countries around the world.

This year, the organizers expect more than 1.100 exhibitors from 56 countries including Greece, Egypt, Macedonia, Montenegro, Croatia, Turkey, Slovenia, Bulgaria, India, Hungary, Tunisia, Germany.... For the first time, the Budapest-based Chinese National Tourism Agency will be presenting its touristic potential. Visitors will also have the opportunity to find out more about the various regions of the Russian Federation.

The partner country of the 39th Tourism fair is Montenegro. Tourism is Montenegro's prime economic activity. Thanks to its natural potential, Montenegro has been declared an ecological state recognizable via its 'Wild Beauty' slogan. In addition to the exhibitors, the Fair participants will display a diverse and rich accompanying program to promote festivals, manifestations and important events as well as the most significant potentials of their trade- presentations, promotions, conferences, degustations and wine tasting. Simultaneously, three similar events will be held- the 13th International Hotel and Catering Equipment Fair HORECA, the 8th International Wine Fair BEOWINE and the 13th Souvenir fair ''Visit Serbia''.

HORECA is a festival that brings together and promotes various branches of the tourist industry. It brings together participants in the tourism and hospitality industry. From the 23rd till the 26th of February, HORECA will gather participants in a large exhibition area where visitors will be able to see the latest kitchen, bar and hotel equipment as well as security and reservation systems, bedding, cleaning equipment, baking equipment, work clothes and shoes, souvenirs, literature and publications. This year, manufacturers and importers of well - known IT, sound and lighting brands will attract special attention. Cutting-edge products and services as well business trends for the supply and running of hotels, restaurants and other catering establishments are part of offer that will be presented at the fair.

As an integral part of the tourism industry, the International Wine Fair – BEOWINE will present touristic activities, accommodation, gastronomic specialities as well as the complete equipment for Enology and Viticulture.

Due to a significant increase in the numbers of exhibitors this year, winemakers will present their products in two halls from the 23rd till the 26th of February. The most prominent local and regional wine manufacturers, wine cellars and wine distribution companies will be partaking in the fair. Serbian Rakia will also be represented by the industry's most eminent brands. Lectures, interactive promotions and free workshops for all participants and visitors will be part of the accompanying program. Experts in wine-making will be discussing the future and development of autochthonous Serbian grape varieties, wine production, planting materials, clones and rootstocks. A variety of styles as well as wines for every occasion will be presented to visitors. The production of certified organic grapes and the legal framework protecting the production of grapes will be discussed. During the traditional BEOWINE CHALLENGE CUP competition, the best wines will be chosen within eight categories.
